Texarkana, AR — A truck driver was taken to a hospital in Texarkana on the Arkansas side after his semi-truck flipped over in an accident. This happened on Thursday of this week, August 13, along the I-49 exit ramp to I-30.
Not many details about the actual accident have been released, but it appears that a white and gray semi-truck was trying to take the exit ramp onto I-30 Thursday afternoon when something went wrong and the truck tipped onto the driver’s side.
The trucker, who wasn’t named, was taken to a hospital and his condition hasn’t been released since.
It looks like this truck is owned by Maersk, of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, which is a global corporation that employes nearly 90,000 people. As far as their trucks and trucking safety go, I’m not familiar with that part of their business.
