South Bend, IN — Police have identified Coley Hanley as the man who was injured when he was rear-ended by a Hummer in South Bend, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. The accident took place near the intersection of Ironwood and Bull roads, around 8:00 at night.
Local reports say the accident happened as Hanley was slowing down on Ironwood to make a turn onto Bulla. Emergency workers took him to Memorial Hospital with a broken arm and a head injury.
The driver of the Hummer was identified only as a 47-year-old woman.
Officials have said that they don’t think alcohol played a role in the accident, but they’re continuing to investigate.
