Bessemer, AL — On Wednesday of this week, there was an accident reported along I-20 in Bessemer that involved a semi-truck and a passenger car. Not many details have been released thus far, but it appears that two people were taken to a hospital — one in serious condition and one in good condition.
The police reported that the accident happened on I-20 near the I-459 exchange, which is on the southwest end of Bessemer. It’s not clear how the wreck happened or who was at fault, but the person in the car was the most seriously injured.
No names are being released right now, though the local police said that they are going to be looking into this as the week continues. As of Thursday, however, there were no updates being released.
