Moody, Texas — John Singer was injured in an 18-wheeler accident on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
Singer was driving an SUV at about 4 p.m. on State Highway 317 when it veered over into the opposing lane of traffic and collided with an oncoming 18-wheeler, a news report said. Singer was trapped in the Chevy Trailblazer he was driving. The impact left the SUV overturned.
Singer suffered serious injuries in the crash. It was reported that Singer, who was in critical condition, had to be flown to a local hospital for surgery.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
It’s not clear what caused Singer to leave his lane of traffic before the crash.
