Jarrell, Texas — A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 left three people injured on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015.
A driver of an 18-wheeler was headed south on Interstate 35 around midnight when the truck rear-ended a car that then caused three more collisions in a chain-reaction pile-up, a news report said.
None of the seven people involved were identified in the report, but three people were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Of the five vehicles involved, two were 18-wheelers.
It was also reported that one of the trucks caught fire and there was a fuel leak as a result of the accidents.
The area where the pile-up took place is a construction zone. Apparently, the driver who started the chain-reaction pile-up was not paying attention.
