Irvine, CA — A man named Juan Luis Espinoza, 34 years old, was badly injured after his car was involved in an accident with a semi-truck along I-405 last month. This happened on Thursday, July 16, 2015 when Espinoza’s car crashed into the back of a semi-truck, the police are claiming.
They said that Espinoza, 34, was headed south along the highway that morning around 12:30 a.m. when he accidentally hit the back of a semi-truck near Culvert Street — leaving his car with serious front-end damage.
Epsinoza had to be cut out of his car and he was immediately taken via helicopter to a hospital. At the last update, he was in critical condition.
So far, it’s not clear whether any charges were ever filed and we don’t know if the news reports, which paint Espinoza to be at fault, are perfectly accurate.
