Diboll, TX — Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place in Diboll, Texas, on Monday, August 3, 2015. The accident happened on Highway 59, around 12:45 in the afternoon.
Local sources say that an SUV headed south on the highway had a tire blow out, which caused it to drive across the median, where it crashed into a pickup truck being driven by Diana Hunter. The force of the collision caused the pickup to roll over.
In all, the accident sent four people to the hospital. Glynis Richardson and Torriante Richardson from the SUV, as well as Diana and Gary Hunter from the pickup truck were also taken to local hospitals for treatment. However, no information on their conditions was released.
The accident is currently being investigated by local officials.

Many believe that tires are simply a single piece of rubber. This isn’t true. They’re made up of several pieces which are then assembled together. And just like anything else that’s assembled together, it can be assembled incorrectly, or be defective. Sometimes, defective tires cause accidents. Whenever that happens, it’s possible that liability for those accidents can land on the manufacturer. In any case, I think a little more investigation is warranted here, just to see what the true cause of this accident was.
