Forney, TX — There was an accident along FM 1392 in Forney that left a woman with injuries, the police recently reported. The accident happened at about 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday night, July 29, and it took place in between Forney and Terrell.
Right now, not a lot of information is being released, but it appears that two cars were headed along FM 1392 that night at about 11:15 p.m. when one tried to pass the other.
As the vehicles were next to each other, they accidentally collided and one of them was sent off the roadway, where it crashed and ignited into flames. The injured woman was in the cat that caught fire, though she was actually able to escape the fire without sustaining any critical injuries.
Her name wasn’t given, but she was taken to a Sunnyvale hospital.
