Omaha, NE — A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after being hit by an SUV in Omaha, Nebraska, on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. The accident took place at the intersection of Q and 36th streets, around 10:45 at night.
Local reports have identified the motorcyclist as 54-year-old Jerry Trumble. Trumble was heading north on 36th when a southbound SUV turned in front of him at the intersection.
Trumble suffered critical injuries in the accident. Emergency workers were called in, and they took him to Creighton University Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was ID’d as 17-year-old Alexis Bruno-Luna. She was hurt in the accident, and police have said that she’ll be facing charges.
No other injuries were reported. Police are continuing with their investigation.
