Longview, TX — There was a fatal accident reported this past Sunday night (July 26, 2015) at about 10:30 p.m. that claimed the life of a young man named Luster LaRay Mitchell and injured both Markus Edmond and Phillip Hudson — all 24 years old.
Police in Longview said that Edmond was driving his blue Chevy Caprice along Pine Tree Road (in a residential area) near Tenneryville Road when he suddenly lost control.
His car spun off the roadway that night and crashed into a tree & utility pole. The impact did serious damage to the car and killed Luster Mitchell immediately.
Markus Edmond and Phillip Hudson were both taken to hospitals as well, but they were not in life-threatening condition.
Right now, it’s not clear what kind of charges will be filed against them, if any.
