Reporting on this accident leaves us with a lot of questions. Virtually nothing is known about the accident aside from the fact that there was an accident. One piece of advice I believe holds up in many of these accidents is the need of a thorough investigation of the scene. In many cases, the trucking company is going to have their own people at the scene, and you can be sure that they’re not looking our for your best interests. Why let them dictate how you’re going to be treated? Have an independent investigation conducted, because it’s important that evidence is collected as soon as possible following an accident.
