Anytime an accident involves a commercial vehicle, victims are going to want to make sure that a complete and thorough investigation takes place. Unfortunately, trucking companies are notorious for trying to push as much liability as possible off of themselves and onto others. Whenever an accident takes place, there’s a good chance they’re going to have their own people investigating it. However, I would never trust a company (even a reputable one like FedEx) to put forth any story that didn’t portray them in as good a light as possible. In the end, the company is looking out for the company, not you. Evidence is what’s going to decide a case either way, and the evidence an investigation uncovers really has the power to change the way that an accident is handled going forward.
