Houston, TX — Two people were hispitalized following a car accident in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. The accident took place at the intersection of Green River Driver and John Ralston Road, around 9:00 in the morning.
Local reports say that the accident took place when an eastbound SUV tried passing the vehicle ahead of him on a two-lane road and crashed head-on into a Toyota Camry. The force of the collision sent both vehicles off the road and into a ditch.
The driver of the Camry suffered critical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The driver of the SUV suffered only minor injuries, but was also hospitalized.
The names of the two drivers weren’t released. Police are investigating.
