LAKE GEORGE, NY — Warren County Police named Marty Mesick as the cab driver that was hurt along with another individual in Lake George, New York on Friday, July 10th, 2015. News reports said that the crash happened shortly before 11:00 Friday night.
35-year-old Marty Mesick and another person were injured when a car hit a taxi Mesick was driving. Police think that the offending vehicle turned out of the RainTree restaurant parking lot when it struck the Tri-County Cab Company taxi.
Mesic and a passenger in the offending vehicle were taken to the hospital after the accident. The driver of the car that turned out of the parking lot was identified as David Forshay, who currenlty faces DWI related charges in connection with the accident.
First responders from both Lake George and Warrensburg assisted with the crash.
