Columbus, OH — Earlier this past weekend, on Sunday afternoon, a man on a motorcycle was badly injured after an accident. The man’s name is Johnny Elkins and this happened in the afternoon hours (July 5, 2015) along Sunbury Road.
Police aren’t saying much about what happened, but Johnny Elkins was apparently riding his motorcycle that afternoon along Sunbury Road near East Fifth Avenue when he may have been hit by another car.
Elkins was badly injured and has suffered, among many other wounds, traumatic brain injuries. He is still in the hospital, the news said, as of Thursday.
Apparently, due to the number of motorcycle wrecks on this stretch of the road, some are saying that this was likely a hit-and-run accident. However, no other vehicle in connection with this wreck has been located by the police yet.
