Commentary
Lawmakers in Ohio have passed legislation making it illegal for bars to over-serve their customers when they’re noticeably intoxicated. The reason for this is that they don’t want bars over-serving people, and then have these people go out and get into accidents, potentially killing themselves and others, while the bar just goes on with life as if nothing’s happened. In an accident like this, it’s always worth looking to see if a bar was involved. If there was, then the bar needs to be held responsible. Period. If every bar out there that could be held responsible was held responsible for this sort of thing, you’d see the number of accidents like this plummet.
