EAST HAMPTON, NY — New York State Patrol personnel named David Disick as the cyclist that was hospitalized after an accident with a car in East Hampton, New York on Sunday, July 5th, 2015. Reports said that the accident happened shortly after noon Sunday.
77-year-old David Disick was injured when the bike he was riding was hit by a GMC on the Napeague Stretch in front of the Lobster Roll Restaurant. Police think he was trying to cross the street when he was struck.
EMS rushed Disick to nearby Stony Brook University Hospital where he was last reported in critical condition.
State Police are investigating.
