Omaha, NE — There was a wreck reported along Farnam Street at 38th Street this past Tuesday afternoon that left a young man from Fremont with serious injuries. The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 and the injured man’s name is Michael Marechale, 21 years old.
According to the news reports, Marechale was walking across Farnam Street that afternoon and stepped into the path of a passing Dodge.
The car failed to brake in time and crashed into Marechale, leaving him with serious injuries — including a skull fracture.
The driver of the Dodge was identified as 21-year old Morgan Greer and she wasn’t harmed. Right now, it’s not clear if Marechale was in a crosswalk or if he had a crossing signal when he tried to cross Farnam.
