Glen St. Mary, FL — Two people suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident in Glen St. Mary, Florida, on Friday, June 26, 2015. The accident happened on Interstate 10, just west of Route 125, around 9:45 in the morning.
Local sources say that the rear tire broke off an SUV a it was driving down the interstate, causing it to roll over. Two people, identified as 47-year-old Yussif Dokurugu — who was ejected from the vehicle — and 34-year-old Cecilia Lovett sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Terri-Lynn Richards, the driver of the vehicle, as well as two 17-year-old passengers, escaped serious injury.
The accident is currently being investigated.

Commentary
Reports say that one of the wheels broke off the vehicle as it was driving down the road. That’s pretty serious. Obviously, SUVs aren’t designed to do that, so it’s possible that liability for the accident would fall on the manufacturer of the vehicle, or possibly anyone who had done some recent work on it.
