Amarillo, TX — A man riding a bicycle was hit by an SUV this past Friday (June 26, 2015) and left with moderate injuries in Amarillo. His name wasn’t given, but this happened along Western Street at about 4:00 p.m. last Friday afternoon.
The police gave a report on the accident, saying that the man on the bicycle was trying to cross Western Street from east-to-west that afternoon when he was hit by a white Chevy Equinox SUV that was headed south on Western.
The two collided and the man riding the bike reportedly suffered some head injuries and had to be taken to a hospital, though he was not in critical condition.
The SUV’s driver was not harmed, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll face charges.
