Story City, IA — A construction worker was hospitalized after being injured in a trench collapse on Friday, June 26, 2015. The accident happened near Bethany Manor and Lafayette Avenue, around 10:00 in the morning.
How the accident happened is unclear, and reports don’t say whether or not the man was working with safety equipment.
The workers’ name was not released.
Reports say that the man was taken to Methodist Medical Center by emergency workers. There’s been no update on the extent of his injuries.
