Corpus Christi, TX — A man was sent to the hospital this past Monday night (June 22, 2015) after he was accidentally hit by a police officer’s patrol car. This was around 9:00 p.m. on Monday night, along Leopard Street near Rand Morgan Road.
The news said that a police officer was patrolling Leopard Street that night and was headed west he accidentally hit a man who may have been trying to walk across Leopard.
The officer called for assistance and said that the man had stepped out in front of him. So far, it’s not clear what happened, but we do know that the man was critically injured.
As of Tuesday, he was being treated at Spohn Memorial Hospital. The news hasn’t yet identified the man and said that this happened along an area of Leopard that wasn’t lit well.
