DELTA COUNTY, MI — County Deputies have named John Miron as the man that was pronounced dead shortly after a serious two-car accident that happened in Delta County, Michigan on Wednesday, June 16th, 2015. Reports out of Detroit said that the accident happened Wednesday evening around 7:00.
Investigators said that 29-year-old John Miron died when a car and a pickup truck collided on Highway 69. Police think that the accident happened when a vehicle failed to stop at a stop light when it struck another car passing through the intersection.
Miron was killed in the accident. Eight other people were taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital where they were being treated for their injuries.
Michigan State Police reconstruction teams were assisted by several local agencies at the scene.
