Harpursville, NY — There was an accident reported along Route 7 in Harpursville, NY this past Tuesday (June 9, 2015) that left at least two people with injuries. Police said that it happened at about 6:00 p.m. in the evening and involved three vehicles, including a grey sedan and a white pickup truck.
The news said that one of the vehicles was sitting at the stop sign at Route 7 and Highway 235, waiting to turn, when the second vehicle rear-ended it after not braking in time.
The first car was pushed into traffic, where it was hit by another car. In total, three vehicles were involved and at least two people had to be taken to a hospital. One may have had serious injuries, the police said, but nothing was confirmed.
It’s not clear if any charges will be filed against the driver who rear-ended the first vehicle.
