Corpus Christi, TX — A man was hospitalized following a work accident at a steel company in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Thursday, June 11, 2015.
Very few details about the accident have been released. Local news sources are saying only that a man got his hand stuck in a machine. Rescue workers needed about ten minutes to take the machine apart and remove the worker’s hand from it.
The worker was then taken to Christus Spohn Memorial for his injuries. Officials say that while they’re extensive, they’re not life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.
