INGALLS, IN — State Police identified Frederick Mead as the man that was critically injured in a car accident that happened in Ingalls, Indiana on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015. Reports out of Madison County said that the accident happened at around 7:15 Wednesday morning.
Local accident investigation teams with details of the situation said that 73-year-old Frederick Mead was injured when two vehicles collided on Highway 67 near the intersection with Co Rd 750. Police currently think a white Lincoln passenger vehicle and a Red Chevy Impala collided when the Lincoln ran the stop sign and struck the Impala. The Impala traveled on and struck a nearby building after the impact with the Lincoln.
Mead was flown by emergency services to a hospital in Indianapolis where he was being treated for unspecified injuries.
Indiana State Police are helping Madison County Sheriff’s deputies with the accident.
