AMWELL, PA — At least one person was hurt after a collision involving a tanker truck and a motorcycle in Amwell Township, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015. Authorities said that the they were notified of the accident at about 3:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Police think that at least one person was hurt when the motorcycle they were a passenger on became involved in an accident with a tanker truck at the Interstate 70/Route 40 split. Right now, officials think the motorcycle may have clipped a tanker truck, resulting in the female passenger’s ejection into the roadway. A recreational vehicle swerved to avoid the woman when it was rear-ended by a car.
Emergency helicopters were called to the scene. It is not clear how many people were hurt in the accident.
Pennsylvania Highway Patrol officials were assisting Washington County police at the scene.
