Norman, OK — A woman was hispitalized following a single-vehicle accident in Norman, Oklahoma, on Friday, May 29, 2015. The accident took place in the 1300 block of E. Cedar Lane Road, around 6:15 in the afternoon.
Police say that Desira Queen was headed east when she drove off the road and wrecked. Queen suffered critical injuries in the accident and was take to OU Medical Center. She was still reported to be in the hospital on Wednesday, June 3.
No one else was injured in the accident. Queen was alone at the time.
Police are currently investigating what caused the crash.

The truth is, you see accidents like this one quite a bit. And while many are quick to dismiss them as the fault of the driver, I don’t think that people should always be so quick to judge. I’ve seen accidents like this that happened through no fault of the driver. Sometimes a car suffers from a defect that’s not readily apparent. Sometimes a tire blows out. You just don’t know.
