Seaford, DE — A worker was accidentally caught in an auger machine this past Thursday in Seaford, leaving himself with critical injuries. The accident happened around 12:00 p.m. (May 28, 2015) and the man’s name hasn’t been injured. This was at Seaford Ice & Cold Storage, off Route 13.
The details of how the man was caught in the boring machine weren’t released, but he was last said to be in critical condition at a hospital the next day.
Seaford Ice is company that delivers ice to the surrounding area, so it’s not clear if this auger machine was being used for carving and storing ice, or if it was part of some other project or even construction job.
