Rains, SC — The news reported that last Friday’s accident between a woman’s car and a dump truck turned fatal. Natasha Morrison, 29, passed away on Sunday (May 31, 2015) just two days after her car was in a wreck on U.S. 41 with a dump truck.
The accident happened just outside of Rains, the police said, along the Highway.
Though not many details about what happened have been released, it appears that Natasha Morrison may have been trying to pass another car along U.S. 41 when she accidentally swerved into oncoming traffic and was hit by a dump truck owned by Southern Asphalt.
The accident left Morrison with very critical injuries and she was airlifted to a hospital, where she later died on Sunday. The cause of the accident is still being investigated. The dump truck driver wasn’t hurt at all.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol appears to be the agency in charge, but they haven’t mentioned anything about charges being filed or not.
