Oklahoma City, OK — A police officer was hospitalized after a possible drunk-driving accident in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Friday, May 22, 2015. The accident took place in the 5400 block of S. Sooner Road, around 11:00 in the evening.
Local reports say that the officer was in the middle of a routine traffic stop when a passing SUV rear-ended his vehicle. The officer was taken to a local hospital. His name hasn’t been released. Sources say that he was in stable condition.
The driver of the SUV appeared to be intoxicated and police charged her for DUI. She suffered minor injuries in the accident. After being treated at a nearby hospital, police booked her into the Oklahoma County Jail.
