FLINT, MI — Accident investigation teams have not yet released the name of the two children that were hurt in a hit-and-run accident that happened in eastern Flint, Michigan on Monday, May 11th, 2015. Sources out of the area said that that police and fire departments responded to the call around 8:00 Monday night.
Two children were hurt when a vehicle ran a stop sign and another vehicle collided at the intersection of Minnesota and Mabel. Officials said that a Buick Century hit another vehicle after running a stop sign, ejecting both children in the car. The driver of the offending vehicle fled the scene, but were tracked down by authorities and arrested a short time later.
Two children sustained serious injuries.
Officials said that they believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
