Rising Sun, MD — There was an accident at a local farm off New Bridge Road in Rising Sun last Wednesday (April 29, 2015) that left a Pennsylvania man with injuries. The police reported that a man was working to unload a trailer with his semi-truck that Wednesday when something went wrong and the truck flipped over onto the passenger side.
The man inside was ejected during the rollover and he was critically hurt. A medical helicopter was called to the scene and flew him to a Baltimore hospital so he could be treated.
This was at about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon and by Wednesday night, the man was still in critical condition. He is a 55-year old resident of Peach Bottom, PA, but his name was not released. It’s not clear if he was an employee of the farm or just making a delivery.
