Indianapolis, IN — Two people were injured in an accident between an SUV and a bus belonging to an adult day care on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The accident took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the intersection of S. Girls School Road and W. McCarty Street, around 7:30 in the morning.
How the accident happened is unknown. Reports say that the SUV was traveling east when it crashed into the northbound bus. The driver of the SUV had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency workers. She, along with the driver of the bus, were taken to IU/Methodist Hospital.
There were two senior citizens aboard the bus. They were evaluated at the scene and released.
Local authorities are investigating the crash.
