ST PAUL, MN — Minnesota Police named Lynne Thomas as the woman that died in an accident with a Green Line Metro Transit train that happened in St Paul, Minnesota on Thursday, April 30th, 2015. Sources out of the area said that the accident happened sometime Thursday morning.
Lynne Thomas was killed when she was hit by a train near the intersection of Snelling and University Avenues. Officials believe Thomas may have stepped into the path of the train for reasons currently under investigation.
Thomas was pronounced dead at Regions Hospital.
The investigation is being handled by officials from the St Paul Police and Fire Departments.
