Dallas, TX — On Monday of this week, May 11, a motorcyclist was very seriously injured in the downtown Dallas area after he fell from an overpass. This happened on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, which is near Woodall Rogers and I-35.
The news reports still aren’t very clear about what happened, but it appears that a man on a motorcycle had exited I-35E on Monday and was taking the WB ramp to the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge over the Trinity River when an accident happened and he crashed into the concrete wall.
The motorcycle then flipped over and the man riding it was flung off and over the overpass, falling to the ground below. Paramedics responded to the field near the McDonald’s at Continental and Riverfront, where the motorcyclist was found with very serious injuries.
At the last update, no names had been released, but the motorcyclist had been taken to a hospital and was being treated. The exact cause of this accident is still under investigation.
