Abilene, Texas — On Friday morning of last week, a teenager in Abilene was injured and taken to a hospital after his foot and leg were hit by a car on Vogel Street. This happened at about 8:00 a.m. outside Mann Middle School, police said, where the 13-year old was headed.
According to their reports, the teen was crossing Vogel on foot that morning when he was hit by a passing car, which struck the teen’s leg and ran over his foot.
As a result, the teenager was rushed to a hospital, but did not require an ambulance. The driver of the car was not charged for anything and the papers said that the teenager may have been in the wrong for failing to yield to the car.
