Commentary
The bottom line in an accident like this is that drivers are responsible for their passengers’ safety. If they’re in an accident caused by someone else, that’s one thing. But many people fail to realize that they owe their passengers a certain duty of care while out on the road. Whenever a driver does something like run away from police and then roll their car, they’re going to be held liable for any injuries — or worse — sustained by their passengers.
