Big Rock, AR — Just west of Little Rock is a small town called Big Rock, which is where a Pulask County Special School District bus got into an accident with a car. Police said that two women (including the bus driver) and two elementary-aged students on the bus were injured and taken to hospitals. This happened on Wednesday morning, April 29, at about 7:00 a.m.
According to the news reports, a Nissan Altima and the school bus collided head-on along Cooper Orbit Road that morning. The woman driving the Nissan Altima apparently lost control and swerved into the oncoming lanes of traffic (supposedly) and caused the head-on wreck with the Pulaski County school bus.
Both women driving the vehicles were injured as well as two students on the bus. From the early reports so far, it appears that one of the students was seriously injured.
So far, it’s not clear if any charges are going to be filed. No identities has been identified.
