Willits, CA — A man was hospitalized following an accident that police believe may have been caused by alcohol consumption. The accident took place in Willits, California, on Friday, April 17, 2015.
Police say that Trevor Stevens was traveling north on Highway 101, just north of the intersection with State Road 162, around 5:30 in the afternoon, when his vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree before rolling over. Police say the accident happened because of an unsafe turning movement made by Stevens.
Stevens was seriously injured in the accident and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police believe that he may have been intoxicated at the time.
No other injuries were reported. Police are currently investigating the accident.
