Neptune City, NJ — The driver of a box truck was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Neptune City, New Jersey, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. The accident happened on Brighton Avenue, sometime that morning.
Witnesses to the accident say they saw the truck speeding down the road before it tipped over and crashed into a utility pole. The crash caused live electrical wires to fall to the ground, leaving local residents without power.
The driver of the Springbrook Spring Water truck was not identified. He was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with minor injuries.
The accident is still being investigated.
