HOUSTON, TX — An unidentified cyclist was taken to the hospital after a serious hit-and-run accident that was reported in Houston, Texas on Sunday, April 19th, 2015. News sources out of Harris County said that the accident took place around 11:00 Sunday night.
Police with details of the accident said that an unidentified cyclist was taken to the hospital after she was hit by a car on Sweetwater Lane near the intersection with Mitchell Road. The vehicle that struck the woman on the bike did not stay on the scene after the accident.
The woman was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hosptial where she was last reported in stable condition following the accident.
The Houston Police are still trying to track down the driver of the car.
