Mentor, OH — A woman in Mentor was critically injured and had to be taken to a nearby hospital this past Tuesday, April 14, after her SUV was in a wreck with a school bus. The accident happened along Lakeshore Boulevard, but not many details about what happened were released.
The police later identified the woman as Amy Evans, 38 years old, and said she was from Fairport Harbor.
Apparently, Evans was driving her SUV west along Lakeshore Boulevard on Tuesday morning at about 10:00 a.m. when the driver’s side of her car was hit by the front of a school bus.
The impact did major damage to both vehicles and Evans was left with serious injuries. More details will be released later, but Evans had to be airlifted to a hospital and was said to still be in critical condition as of Wednesday.
