WELLTON, AZ — One person was taken to the hospital after an industrial accident that was reported in Wellton, Arizona on Friday, April 10th, 2015. News reports said that the accident happened sometime Friday morning, but did not pin down the exact time of the incident.
An unidnetified employee of Wellton-Mowhawk Irrigation and Drainage District was hurt in an accident of an unspecified nature at a transfer station near the Butterfield Golf Course. The news did not say exactly how the accident happened, but did result in a power outage in the surrounding areas.
The worker was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is underway at this time.
