Franklin County, TN — A local man was hit and left with injured this past Tuesday night, April 14, 2015 while he was walking along U.S. 64. Police in Franklin County have since said that the man from Mulberry and is 26 years old, but didn’t release any names as of Wednesday.
They reported that this accident happened on Tuesday night, at U.S. 64 and Moon Road.
The 26-year old man was apparently walking along the highway that night when he was hit by a passing dark blue sedan. The passenger side of the car struck the man and left him with several injuries.
Paramedics were called to the scene and the man was taken to a hospital in Fort Smith, where they said he was in critical condition. Right now, he’s being treated at another hospital they transferred him to.
It’s not clear if the driver of the dark blue has been apprehended yet, as they fled the scene and police were still searching as of Wednesday.
