Jacksonville, AR — Two children were injured in a hit-and-run accident in Jacksonville, Arkansas, on Sunday, April 12, 2015. The accident took place on Collins Road.
Police say that a 16-year-old was pushing a 1-year-old in a stroller when she was hit by a passing car, pushing the girl and the stroller over. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene.
The two children were taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where they were later released. Their names have not been released.
Police say that the vehicle is white, or possibly silver, is a Dodge Charger or a similar model, and may have black racing striped on the passenger side. The driver is currently being looked for.
