Kent, OH — Four people were injured in a car accident in Kent, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. The accident took place on Loop Road, near the intersection of Summit Street, around 7:15 in the evening.
Police say that a 22-year-old woman was driving a car on Loop Road when swerved and crashed into an oncoming Jeep. A 19-year-old inside the Jeep was ejected. Another 19-year-old passenger and the 18-year-old driver were both injured.
Emergency workers transported all four to local hospitals. Reports say that their injuries are not life-threatening.
Police say that the 22-year-old responsible for the accident was on drugs at the time. A blood test was performed, and police say that it’s possible charges will be pressed once the results from the test have been received.
The investigation into the crash continues.
