MONTGOMERY COUNTY, VA — One person died and three people were taken to the hospital after an accident between a car and a train in Montgomery County, Virginia on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015. News reports said that the accident happened around 6:00 Wednesday evening.
An unidentified child was killed and three people were taken to the hospital after a train hit a car at an unspecified crossing. Reports said that the train sounded the horn when it struck the vehicle at a private railroad crossing.
An unidentified child was taken to the hospital with three other people, where the child succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
