China Spring, TX — Two people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle car accident in China Spring, Texas, on Monday, April 6, 2015. The accident took place at the intersection of FM 185 and China Spring Road, around 6:00 in the morning.
The accident was between a pickup truck and an SUV. Reports say that the SUV was stopped in a turn lane at the intersection, waiting to make a right hand turn. turn. The pickup truck was headed north on China Spring Road and was going to make a left-hand turn onto FM 185. The two vehicles collided head-on with each other.
The driver of the pickup truck had to be extricated by emergency workers. Both drivers were taken to a hospital in Waco. Their names have not been released and there’s no information on the extent of their injuries.
The accident is still being investigated.
