Austin, TX — There was an accident along Riverside Drive this past Wednesday night that critically injured a woman on a bicycle. This happened at about 9:15 p.m. in the evening and the woman, who had to be taken to a nearby hospital, was identified only as being in her 20’s.
According to the Austin Police, the woman was riding her bicycle along Riverside Drive that night when she was hit by a car near the I-35 overpass.
The accident left her with serious injuries, but there haven’t been any details about what happened yet. Right now, it’s not even clear who was at fault.
The accident was being investigated late into the night. This all happened just south of the Colorado River.
